Breaking down barriers to being active

At One Impossible Thing we collect your preloved sports shoes and redistribute them for free. We work with PE teachers like Rhys, who observed students opting for a detention rather than admitting that, due to their families financial situation, they lacked the necessary sports shoes. We work with homeless charities that see those living on the streets frequently needing replacement trainers as they spend a lot of time walking to help relieve mental health problems and boredom. We also help sports groups who encourage groups that are underrepresented in sport, such as Inclusive FC who run activities for young adults with learning disabilities.

We also organise free challenges for any body to take part in at their own level, to encourage a more active lifestyle. We help to motivate and encourage participants through an online community.
